Karumba Ngatia, popularly known as DJ Krowbar, is a multi award-winning DJ and media personality who has left an indelible mark on the African entertainment scene. With an exceptional talent for blending African sounds and movies into his sets, DJ Krowbar has garnered widespread recognition and admiration. His passion for African culture is evident in his work, and he has been honored with numerous accolades for his outstanding contributions to the industry.
Alfred is a Core faculty lecturer at ADMI in Film and Television Department, TVET CDACC accredited trainer in Cinematography, Camera for Television, and Directing for Television.
Previously, I have worked for several media establishments like Nation Media Group, NTV and Local productions companies. As a freelancer Director, I have produced numerous Documentaries and content for various organizations and corporates companies. I am accredited media practitioner by Media Council of Kenya (MCK) and Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK)
I am passionate about cinematography for story telling and multimedia content production. I hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communication and Public Relations from Moi University, Diploma in Film & Video Production from Kenya institute of Mass Communication, and I’m currently pursuing Masters in Communication – Media Studies at Daystar University.
High School Education:
KCSE D+ (Plus) or KCE division I, KACE one (1) Principal or an equivalent qualification or Certificate of Experiential Learning or KNQF. Basic computer proficiency is required.
