ADMI’s Film & Television Production course prepares you to write original stories and capture global audiences using cinematic tools.
We will teach you the magical art of storytelling, equipping you with the skills to inspire and move audiences through diverse cinematic tools. From the outset, you will be immersed in all aspects of the creative journey, from ideation and creative writing through to scriptwriting, production, directing, cinematography, sound and post-production editing.
While providing a sound basis, in theory, ADMI balances practical experience with a comprehensive acquisition of core skills. As a Film & Television Production graduate, you will be technically and aesthetically proficient in all areas of film and television production and, through project-based collaborations, you will develop a diverse portfolio, ranging from comedies to music videos, documentaries and commercials.

COURSE DURATION: The course will course will run for 2 academic years (5 semesters)

Wanjiku Njoroge is a communications professional with 12 years’ experience and knowledge in Television Production, Event Management and Administration; Broadcasting, Team Building, Writing and Editing, Creating Networks, People Management, Crisis Management and Leadership.
She has worked with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation, Nation Media Group, Level One Communications and Supersport. She has also been involved in several ad-hoc productions including BBC Global Questions, CNN Awards, The Papal Mass and NHK Global Agenda.
She is currently a lecturer at ADMI teaching News Production, Screen Presentation, Directing and Producing for TV, Scripting for TV, Producing for Film and Directing for Video.
Wanjiku likes to tell stories and is able to capture people’s attention. She knows that everybody has a story we can learn from and be inspired by. Her love of people has been demonstrated in the ability to train, lead and motivate, while inspiring them to deliver in their respective areas.
Kevin Chepkech Is a video editor, motion & VFX designer and founder of Sketchyart Studios, a VFX and motion design company in Nairobi.
He’s worked on shows like East Africa Sportsline, the XYZ show, and numerous TV ads. He’s built up a lot of experience in the past 8 years working at renowned production houses like Nusunusu Productions and Level 1 Communications.
He has an Advanced Diploma in 3D Animation and Multimedia from Shang Tao Media Arts College.
He is currently a lecturer at ADMI teaching video editing and motion graphics.
High School Education:
KCSE C- (Minus) or KCE division II, KACE one (1) Principal or an equivalent qualification or Certificate of Experiential Learning or KNQF. Basic computer proficiency is required.
