ADMI’s Drawing Fundamentals Certificate is designed to introduce fundamental drawing techniques to students with no prior drawing skills or experience. Through a practice-based approach, students will explore the fundamentals of drawing, including shapes, forms, contour construction, line control, lighting and shading, and color.
Students will learn to draw various shapes and forms from observation, memory, and imagination. They will learn how to develop better line control and understand the basics of light and shadows and learn how to relate art and culture to create rich and authentic Afrocentric designs.
By the end of this 6-month course, students will gain a better understanding of drawing and be able to create appealing, well-constructed and rendered drawings. Students will be able to:

KCSE D (Plain), KCE Div. III or equivalent qualification or certificate of experiential Learning or completion of KNQA Level 4
