This foundational Graphic Design course equips you with the competencies you need to apply design elements and principles, conceptualize graphic design, produce graphic illustrations, create graphic artwork, and produce graphic design.
Learners will explore the design process from brainstorming and conceptual thinking to presenting a finished piece. The course will be assessed both internally and externally.
Internal assessment will be conducted by your trainer as a continuous assessment while external assessment will be conducted by external assessors appointed by TVET CDACC.
Upon successful completion of the course the student will be issued with a national certificate of competency by TVET CDACC in conjunction with the training institution.
COURSE DURATION: The course will run for 1 academic year (3 semesters and Internship).
CREDITS: 24 contact hours per unit and an average of 5 units per semester.
