Rubika, the top-ranked animation, game, and industrial design school is now at ADMI. The course will give you the practical skills you need to fill the growing global demand for skilled designers, programmers, artists, and producers in game development.
The curriculum has been developed by renowned industry professionals to equip you with the skills needed for the entire game development process from an idea to a fully working game deployed on a mobile device. In the process, you will learn video game history, genres in games, creation of game art, and coding.
Any team is as good as its weakest link; Thus the course is designed to gradually transition from working individually to working with a team as you learn to pick specialized roles within the team. This will equip you to be as proficient as an independent developer and a team player in a Game Development Studio.
The course progresses from a Certificate to a Diploma to a Degree and each level has 3 Semesters (2 Semesters in-class blended teaching (4 months each) and 1 Semester internship (3 months)
Mode of study: The course is made of cumulative certifications starting from a Certificate to an optional Diploma and eventually a Degree. Each certification consists of 2 semesters and an internship.

This Game Design & Development Course has been crafted by industry professionals and offers a project-oriented curriculum. You will have a solid foundation in game conception, design, and programming and get the chance to develop publishable mobile games in different market-relevant genres. Skilled video game designers will guide you through the entire development process, to build optimised programs and compelling game levels, and create engaging experiences. In the process, you will learn video game history, theory, and production, including current trends in the market.

Video Game Development Faculty
Dr. Anthony Maina is a professional software developer, founder and lead developer at Auravision Interactive, a software development consultancy that bridges the gap between industry sectors and emerging gaming technologies like augmented reality, virtual reality, real-time 3D simulations/ visualizations and mobile/cloud technologies. Using his medical background and programming skills he works with surgeons to develop virtual reality applications that help them train better and plan for complex operations and procedures. He heads the Game Development Faculty at ADMI and hopes to inspire his students to invest in themselves and chart a path to their own fulfilment.
How to Apply
High School Education:
KCSE C- (Minus) or KCE division II, KACE one (1) Principal or an equivalent qualification or Certificate of Experiential Learning or KNQF. Basic computer proficiency is required.
